Itinerary description
The way marking of this trail was not perfect and the figure of 8 route was an unintentional, but interesting, consequence. Starting in the small village of Espinama the walk is through deciduous woodland of oak and beech with occasional distant views. Lots and plants and insects to see including the deadly horsefly! The butterflies in particular were spectacular with fritillaries, skippers amongst others and even a purple emperor.
