Itinerary description

Great hike through the hills just outside of Esporles. The start is fairly steep before flattening out after the first initial ascent. Trail markings aren’t great which leaves the possibility of making a direct route slightly longer which is a bit frustrating. Lots of nice viewpoints along the way. There are some ruins to stop and shelter or have lunch (no fires please as so many people tend to do) - The main viewpoint was avoided based on weather conditions on this particular day but it’s easily accessible. On the last viewpoint (photo provided) there is an area of exposed calcite minerals to take as a souvenir.

The descent is quite rocky, be cautious if raining as they are moss covered and very slippery.
