Itinerary description
Complete breakfast at 7.30am leaving around 8am. However they can prepare a ´to go´ brekky pack should you wish to leave earlier. Just talk to Sr.Vitor at dinner time.
TRACK
Leave hotel to your right, follow Camino arrows and continue to N13 (May not see arrows for 500m or so). Once you get to N13 cross it to other side and go right along road and turn on the 1st one on the left towards the Igreja de Marinhais (church is visible at a distance from road). There are toilets next to the church. After a short while there is a Post Office with stamp and toilets.
After that there is a long walk, between 9-10km to 17km and a stop at cafe S.Sebastião, Chafé for a bite to eat (lovely sisters and mother running place, mainly sandwiches and cakes). They don´t close for holidays. Supermarket on next village around 2km further.
At 21km a couple more hills and after that all good. Crossing long bridge as arriving into Viana do Castelo.
This track is moderate due to several moderate hills and being 25km-
ACCOMMODATION
Hotel Rali Viana with nice indoor pool and spa (requires swimming cap). Dinner at 7.30pm and very good entrees, food (including nice pizzas) and wine galore. Excellent customer service. Met with hotel manager.
Staff: Artur (Chefe de restauração e Tai-Chi), André (na recepção e de óculos)
