Itinerary description
Difficult trail only for experienced hikers. This hike is steeper (12% avg.) than the common ones in the area (8% avg). Actually, the last 1km to the summit is around 25% inclination and narrow path. The refuge area is incredible and very peaceful there. We got to see a lot of horses there. The way back is down to the other part of the valley. First segment is down through a dense forest for 1h until reaching Jou (small village). From Jou to Espot is the last 7.5km of the hike next to a road.
