Itinerary description
Parking and starting point using what3words is ///formatos.acreditar.avispas.
This is a 'there and back' walk. Parking is easy and starting where we did means you get lots of good views and a round 11km walk. If you want a slightly shorter walk there are parking opportunities further along the road. The downside is that it is all on the road PR-A-293 leading to the Ermita. Having said that we only saw 14 vehicles, 1 scooter and 1 bicycle throughout the whole walk. As we were doing this walk during COVID-19 Lockdown we had to stay on the Cartama side of the boundaries. Be aware that the Ermita sits at the junction of Cartama, Alora and Almogia municipalities!
