Itinerary description
A nice hike from the beach to the highest peak of Estepona.
Getting out of Estepona is pretty straightforward and avoids busy roads.
There are plenty of properties that have dogs behind the fence. I only encountered two dogs that were free. Getting past them was scary. Keep that in mind.
After 5 km I had to go back and take another route as my original route was closed for hunting for the day.
Once the hike started dogs were no longer around.
As I approached the peak, I encountered a herd of goats that were on the path. I didn’t know how to handle that. So I stopped and bit further away and waited for them to pass. It was good break anyway.
Today Africa was not visible from the peak. Still, the view is amazing.
