This route, located on the outskirts of the Norwegian city of Evje, will take us to the top of one of the nearby mountains where the communication antenna of the region is located. It is an easy route, especially if it is not done in the rainy season, since most of it is on a dirt road in good condition.
We will start the route from the parking where we can leave the car and visit the nearby geological museum if we go in August. We will cross the fence by the door making sure that it is closed so that the cattle do not escape and we will take a path that almost immediately begins to climb implacably. We will continue climbing the whole hill enjoying the beautiful landscape as we gain altitude until we reach a point where we will see an indicative sign to deviate to the right. From here begins the path section, which will not carry through the forest thicket to our destination, the communications antenna. If we go in the rainy season or when it has rained recently, we will have to be careful with the muddy areas, since we can finish with the foot stuck in a good pile of mud.
To return we can choose several paths depending on how long we want to do the route or what we want to complicate it. The 1st option is to go back where we came from, it's the fastest. The 2nd option is to go around the wide path that gives access to the vehicles to the antenna, is the one we chose, it gives much more return so the route lengthens 4-5km more, in return the slope is lower and the simplest way. The 3rd option is a path that starts from the antenna (just where on our track there is a "salient") and goes down to a place near the parking. We know neither the unevenness nor the conditions of it, although it seemed quite abrupt.
Path made quietly with stops to eat and take pictures.

De 1e kilometer is het zwaarst. Ongeveer 200 meter steil omhoog klimmen. Daarna vlakker. Een mooie groene bergtop als beloning.
