First picture: This zone is made up of badlands. It is caused by the erosion of the rocks produced by the water of the rain. This land is made up of soft rocks and it is usually seen in semi-arid climates. We have scarce vegetation, only bushes adapted to the lack of rain. The base of the structure is made up limestone. Second picture: This zone is made up of the erosion of clay. The relief is very soft due to external agents.

Second stop: Meander of the Tajo river

We can see the middle course of the Tajo river. When the river losses energy is going to avoid the hardest rocks and as a result of this we obtain meanders. In one bank, the river is going to erode and in the other bank, the river is going to deposit the sediments that have been eroded.

Fourth stop: Mirador del Valle

In this meander the erosion is produced at the sea bed because the banks of the river are made up of hard, metamorphic rocks which can not be eroded. The metamorphic rocks we can see in this meander are gneiss and quartzite. This meander is an excavated meander. In terms of vegetation, we can see some brooms and other riparian plants, but in the slopes we can't find almost any type of plants. Talking about the fauna of the meander, wa can't observe any animal, but suppose we can find some amphibians, fish and birds such as ducks.
