Exo potamoi 2- paspari fount- stream- Aloida- Vitsilia settlement- Liana- exo potamoi

Once again to lovely exo potamoi village. Start before village down by dirt road to paspari fount and then to stream by clean path under oaks.Some fences, all of them with passages. We continue deeper to stream to find that s coming from Tsivi mountain and Aloida. In 20min we start walking inside in this. Most of route by path and some inside stream with river stones. Easy ascent and cool temperature. 2.30min from start to Aloida by the stream. Aloida is a small field and belong to Mesa Lasithi village.Hiding place for revolutionist of Captain Kazanis at ottoman occupation.There is a memorial.
Break for fresh water and then we walk through aloida to find the path by the scarp to old settlement of 'Vitsilia' which is at the 'nose' of mountain.One of the most impressive paths i ever walk.
5-6 old stone houses in the midlle of nowhere with view to everywhere.
We continue to other side of mountain carefully because is abrutly. Ηalf hour to cross the side and we arrive at top of Liana.Liana is fields in which at old years residents of exo potamoi planted wheat and barley at summertime.Now dereliction, only goats.
down by small valley to last straight area of Liana with nice view to Potamoi and then by the old path to meet streams and back. Path is big but in some pieces because of slidings, is not very obvious. Path drive to streams and then up again to paspari fountain and to starting point.
Unexpected nice trail in wild parts of the area.
Epilogue: Easy by marks to follow the trail. Path from Aloida to Vitsilia, and from thear to Liana is not for them who fear the heights.
