Itinerary description
Park in Blatten and take the bus up to Fafleralp to start the hike. Take the path out of the left side of the parking lot as you look up at the glacier. The path splits - keep right. The path has a couple of mountain lakes where you can swim so bring a bathing suit. After the first lake, the path stops being paved and climbs up an internal valley where there is another spectacular view of the Petersgrat glacier. The path meanders through woods and a couple of small villages before descending steeply into Blatten.
