Itinerary description
Really hard trekking to do it in one day, but the views and the route are worth it 😅.
Normally you can do only one way up, and then go down with the cable car, but this time it was close for maintenance, so there was no more option.
If you are thinking of doing it without a guide by yourself, maybe it's not the best option. Many people told me Vietnam doesn't allow it and directly them will not sell the tickets to you. I didn't try to overpass the Ranger Office.
The guide cost me 1.900.000 donhs, including transport with motorbike from and to Sapa, and the food and water. It's the less I could find.
Appart from this, the trekking is very beautiful, and demanding (thinking in the 2 ways like I did). We started before sunrise and arrived with the last rays of light!! Of course we stopped several times to rest, take photos, lunch... but still.

Hi, sound like great fun. I want to do the same. Did you need a guide, or is the trail easily and well marked?
You really don't need a guide, but the authorities oblie you to hire one 🤷🏻♂️.
Thanks for quick reply.
Where did you get yours? - if you remember?
In Sapa.
