Crossing creek
This creek is where it starts the trail to Fansipan. Here is where it joins the real path (Stairs) where you have to pay at the police station from the other path (sand trail). You can see it better on the 2nd picture.

Start/Finish trail.
Those pictures are to show you where you start and finish the trail if you want to avoid the police station but I still recomend anyone to hire a guide. I think you could do it without guide but the experience I had was with a guide and I really recomend hire one. If you say to the guide that you would preffer to do it cheaper without paying the fees this is where he will take you. To find the path you should keep driving around 200-300m after police station.
