Itinerary description

Terrific varied trail through lots of different terrane, part on dirt track road, part off. Not the most travelled, you can easily loose the trail on places on backcountry parts, but with good shoes and a bit of perseverance you'll pick it up again.

First few Kms is on a dirt road, great views, then, at a U bend in the road the trail starts through a forest, up and along either side of a (in Aug) dried up river bed, through mixed oak. Near the source, the trees change to a pine forest and it's easy to lose the path but regular piles of stones help as a guide. Then up to the top, dropping slightly to end at an awesome rock arch, unusual, with great views all the way to Vejer in the distance. Coming back first along the fire road, then through a fence off-trail. A bit sketchy at the start, the trail all but disappears and you have to force yourself through about 50m of pretty rough bush, but after that it's pretty easy to pick up.

Varied and pleasant track down again next to dried up river beds through mixed and oak wood forests. The leaf litter makes easy to lose the trail, but keep going in the right direction and you pick it up again. Route continues along the left bank of a dried riverbed until you pick up the dirt road again and finish.

Well worth it.

You come off the road here. Look for a wire door in the fence on the right - you have to go through it.

Go through this to the bushes on the other side, it's almost impossible to see the first 50m of the trail as the bushes have overgrown it. Look carefully and you can see a little wear of the trail on the ground, you need to push through thick scratching bush here for a little bit until it opens out. Force yourself through it.

Lo siento, no lo sé. Pero sería un paseo encantador esta temporada ya que es un poco más fresco.
