Itinerary description
Nice walk to Hesten in the wonderful Senja island. From this peak you can see the famous view of Segla and surroundings. Amazing!!
Very easy to follow path since you see the top from the beginning. We didn't reach the top cause it was a little slippery (it lasted some 20/30m more), but we made it without crampons/snowshoes to the top because de the ground was quite mixed (not fully capped with snow)

Undoubtedly, one of the most amazing sights I have ever seen. The landscape is both beautiful and harsh with sharpen mountains and dark blue fyords. The small village at the foot of the mountain (Fjordgård) looks tiny, isolated and lovely from the top of Hesten (well, almost the top because the ice made it very difficult to climb the last meters). Senja is a majestic island. And Segla is a beautiful and characteristic mountain. Defenitely, a place to visit.
