Itinerary description

English (castellano debajo):

There are plenty of parking spots but the place is also very touristic so in case you should expect at least long lines to park. Also, the parking is 5 CHF 4 hrs and 6 CHF the whole day.

From the parking until the lake is no more than 5 to 10 minutes walk that you could even do by cable car. Once in the lake there are two sections. One that is open to public and the other one, with restaurant, toilets, kids place and some other nice places at a cost of 5 CHF per person.

You can easily walk as well to the next restaurant which is next to Il Spir, a super cool viewpoint where you can see the river underneath and the cliff surrounding. Up til here the whole path is easy and you'll find lots of people. Also, there is a very clean toilet outside that anybody can use.

From this point onwards is where you will find the real mountain trails. We decided to go down to the river and for that we chose a very small path not indicated in the map but very well visible. Before continue descending; in Ransun; you will find a place for a bbq with nice tables and great views. We saw people returning at this point.

We decided to descend till the river, passing the bridge and then arriving at the train station. This way is all the time up and down and you will also see quite lot of people.

From the station we continued towards Versam, however, this is quite steep and then a quick descend once again. The views are really nice from the other side and you will need to walk in the road a couple of times.

Once back in Ransun we continued via Crestasee, but there are lots of forks and not all of them clearly indicated so we took some shortcuts that may not be good for everyone.

Just a tip, pay attention to the water you have as there are not so many options available during the way.

Castellano:
