Itinerary description

Another hike in the series of hikes between Hera and Metinaro. The first half of this hike, you will not find many trails. Even though the hike is not very complicated, it seems that there are just very people in this area. After the initial climb, you will cross quite a number of land bridges. As there are virtually no trails and it's easy to follow the wrong ridge, we recommend to keep a good eye on your trail and not to reduce the tracklog in to few waypoint or you may find yourself backtracking several times to get through the first half of the hike. However, if you follow our suggested track, you will enjoy various views and will be as much amazed as we are every time there is another landbridge that will bring you to the next peak.

The second half of the hike will become much easier. There are some hiking track to follow and at the end you will come to a road that has been falling apart for many years and can be only be followed by foot. The road will bring you slowly down from the mountain and you simply follow the road (with 1 shortcut) until you are on the road along the small river again. This road will eventually bring you back at the starting point where you left the car. Like with a previous hike in this area: If this hike make some of the hikers in your group very tired, then one of the hikers may go ahead and pick up the car to collect the other hikers.

Exit Main road

Exit the main road from this point. The road to follow starts as a strait dirt road that will make some bends once it gets close to the river.
