Itinerary description
From Avín into the Asturias mountains. Easy but sometimes steep hike to some very nice views of the Asturian landscape.
Starting from the camping in Avín, we go straight up and from the first crossroads we can choose go either left or right upwards. Walking amongst cows on a easy path we see mountain tops in the distance and valley views all around.
Passing the summit it’s a few kilometers easy downhill, when it’s suddenly gets steep downhill again towards Avín.

Wij zijn linksom gegaan zoals vermeld en dat blijkt achteraf de beste optie. In het 2 de gedeelte door het weiland veel koeien met dito koeienvlaaien. Maar allemaal lieve dieren die gewillig opzij gaan als ze op het pad liggen. Wij hebben de stijging wel in de regen gedaan. De afdaling is niet leuk, bijna volledig over een steile betonnen weg, was vermoeiender dat de stijging.
