Itinerary description
From a moterhome site near El Roque to San Felipe and following a part of the Caminode San Felipe.
Checking out El Roque first we pass a natural swimming pool. Going our way back to San Felipe the the highway and Puente Silva, a serie of impressive bridges are very visible.
Then it’s steep up walking along the caves that are made to make this road possible (for dynamite blasting and such). From there through a tunnel we go up a small summit where you lovely views all around.. even see Tenerife and the Teide on a clear day.
From there it’s down towards a dam.. and a intricate climb after the canal stops. Going up again the paths are easy to follow.
Down again to pass the highway, fear of heights could be an issue. Then via San Felipe back to the camperspot.
