Itinerary description
From Gurat to Château de Mailleberchie near Villebois-Lavalette.
A very nice and easy hike through the fields and hills at the border of la Charente and le Dordogne passing several small communities and farms.
We start at the church of Gurat and we take look inside, with a sober but nice interior.
After Gurat we take a right to the hills and farmland of Langely and afterwards Connétable. Following some easy trails along some farmland we see already the towers of Château de Mailleberchie.
From here we cross the D17 again towards a small hideaway in the fields near Dolmen de chez vinaigre. It’s now pretty straightforward to Gurat to the church where our car is parked.. then I forgot to finish off the trail, so the last kilometer is not part of the trail!
