Itinerary description
The Cares Trail or Ruta del Cares is one of the most popular treking paths within the Picos de Europa, the route is situated between the province of León and Asturias, in Spain.
The path is carved in the rocks of the mountains and it is a wonderful journey over 12 km one way.
Elevation gain uphill 1812m does not correspond to reality(max. 500-600m),on this route my GPS device did not work properly.
