Itinerary description
Up on the cable car then a steady flog up the dirt track until we reach the snow. Poles essential as it is snow all the way. The path appears every now and then, but it’s just a case of following the tracks of the previous walkers. We reached the saddle between the tin hut (left) and final climb to summit (right). We found a rock and had lunch, then slid our way back down to the path and the cable car station. Great day, although we didn’t expect quite so much snow.
