Itinerary description
Was meant to be a valley walk but we were driven up the hillside by locker gates, dogs and cows - which was lucky, as we ended up on a path that took us up to the gap at the end of the valley affording us a great view - once again - of the snowy sierra. This part of the walk was the most demanding, with a few sections of climbing but nothing major. This walk could be joined to the one from the day before to make a circle. The paths above the road track near Fuente la Teja (on the return route) were not all that clear (it appears not to be a marked route) and we had to clamber across country between sections of the main track near the end to avoid cows with calves. A very pleasant walk, though.
