Itinerary description

From the Embalse del Conde de Guadalhorce, along paths to the northern end of the Camino del Rey (reconstruction still in progress at the time of this visit). Then an ascent to a viewpoint overlooking the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, which I have referred to as the Mirador de los Buitres, on account of the large number of birds circling and nesting on the cliff face opposite. Finally back to the starting point via a tunnel (hence the gap in the recording of this route).

The name is purely my own invention. This is a fine viewpoint for both the gorge and the cliff opposite, where birds of prey are constantly circling and landing.
