Itinerary description
From Grazalema I went to Zahara de la Sierra by taxi and left my luggage there in the hotel. The taxi driver let me out on the way back in the parking lot of the Garganta Verde (25 Euro - Antonio - 0034654195867). For the Garganta Verde you need a permit, which you get in the tourist office in El Bosque between 10 and 14 clock. Call ahead and ask if there are approvals available for the day.
The Garganta Verde is breathtakingly beautiful, but also the descent on the opposite side of the road between Zahara and Grazalema and the trail along the shore of the reservoir of Zahara de la Sierra are enchanting.
For a short while I walked away through an olive grove to shorten the distance to the road and back to Zahara de la Sierra.
THe last two and a half kilometers my way follows the road.
