Itinerary description
The first 3.5 km are difficult due to rough ground. The middle section up to the river source is good, though waterfalls and pools have been bulldozed flat! Route onlong old pipe line is good until descent when track becomes rough and damaged by motorbikes. After crossing the road near the water tank, the descent into the valley is also hard going due to loose shale. The final leg back to Pedregales again is difficult and uncomfortable. A good walk none the less but be aware of difficult sections.
