Itinerary description
An amazing and very diversified trail near the Spanish border that explores the area to the east of Lamas de Mouro inside the Peneda-Gerês Natural Park. By starting CCW you will face the most demanding ascent of the trail right at the beginning throughout a beautiful slope with astonishing views. In spring it just looks like a giant garden that reminds some kind of impressionist painting. After that the trail gets quite easy changing a lot. We saw lizards, snakes, interesting and colorful insects, wild horses, birds of prey, and the common domestic animals along the way. A joy for the soul.
