Itinerary description
A fairly easygoing route through prime forests at the base of the Gerês hills and then up though rocky terrain.
Starts at the spectacular viewpoint (miradouro) Pedra Bela where there is ample parking. Then it goes into some interesting forest terrain with its enormous amount of ferns. After a white we turn north up the hills, although the incline is pretty gradual.
Goes past a remote goat farm up to a refuge at a big camp site, then goes down another route. Going back is a bit steeper than going up, but is mainly on dirt road.

Due to the weather forecast we opted for this shorter and rather easy walk. Nevertheless, a good physical condition is recommended to enjoy the marvelous surroundings. Later we combined it with a short hike to and from the Cascata do Arado. Finally, we climbed up the Miradauro das Rocas. On our way down, hell broke lose and we called it a day. Thanks for the upload.
Very nice hike. I did this in reverse and it was one of the most picturesque walks I've done anywhere in the world (helped by beautiful weather). Easy to park and navigate the trail. Would highly recommend

Sencilla ruta por el Geré. Le faltan vistas panorámicas a los barrancos por ir todo el rato entre barrancos y pinos.
