Itinerary description
This is a loop hike in the vicinity of the East-Belgium border near Ternell. The trail starts at the Monschau-Eupen asphalt road and crosses it again at the Ternell visitor center, but large stretches of the hike are through wild ravines and along streams. Much of the hike has the character of a mountain trail.
One would not expect such a "wilderness" trail to be so close to civilization - certainly a highlight in the area.
Refreshments are to be had at Ternell. There are also maps and much information. The weekend`s bus connecting Eupen and Monschau stops at the start of the hike and at Ternell.

Great hiking trail!! Mostly roots and rocks on narrow paths next to a river. Trail feels natural but is maintained very well. The route will be quite tricky though in wet conditions due to the rocks and roots.
