Second stretch of the trek of Ghorepani at the foot of the Annapurna in Nepal.

First stretch of the Ghorepani trek, at the foot of the Annapurna massif, in the Western Region, Pokhara, Nepal.

The Ghorepani Trek is, without a doubt, one of the most famous and best-adapted trekking that can be done in Nepal. It is also, most likely, the one with the best views and panoramic views of the colossal mountains through which it runs, where the entire Annapurna massif, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri, 8,000 all of them, or the impenetrable Machhapuchhre stand out.
This is a very well-equipped trek, as we will find places where we can eat and sleep during all the trekking, since there is at least one lodge in all the villages. During the low season and when winter is more pronounced, it may be the case that some peripheral sections of the trek or some lodges are closed, but we can always obtain information on alternative routes asking the tenants.
The path is well signposted and easy to follow, with signs on the breaks and landmarks in some sections along the route, sometimes white and red, sometimes white and blue. The paths are not particularly technical, but when there is an unevenness, we can find stone steps, which can be very slippery (and heavy), and high levels, the presence of snow can also hinder walking.

This track uploaded here is the second part of the route, divided into 3 parts for GPS tracking, two days for a total of 5. The real route begins at the village of Jhinu Danada, where we have slept and we make a visit In the thermal baths, right next to the river, spectacular !!
We start the day of the second day with a good climb towards Chomrong, and once we take the path that goes left, without reaching the town. We will continue some kms along a pleasant road with a slight unevenness, until we begin to descend to cross the river. Once we cross it through the typical Nepali bridge, another sharp rise begins. We decided to go past the different lodges to reach Chuile, where we will stop lunch at the lodge Rainbow Hostel, comfortable and large and with good food. The morning work has been long, and we leave in the afternoon a shorter stretch but with a steep slope. This last ascent goes through a very beautiful road, since the vegetation has crossed and we are in the middle of a lush wet forest, which joins the fog, gives it a rather spectral aspect. After about two hours, we arrived at the village of Tadapani, where we sleep at the Grand Vew Lodge, which is very recommendable!
Also very recommendable is to get away and see how the first rays of the sun illuminate the tips of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna, just before starting a nour day of hiking.
The day of today is the longest and most harsh of the whole trek: today's goal is to reach the town of Dobato and climb to the summit of Mulhdai, a route not frequented by tourist treks, but where one of the best views of the whole route! We take a pleasant, rather flat, path that allows us to enter heat before facing the rise of today: 1000m of uneven altitude. We pass through the villages of Mechar Danda and Isharu, and after a small Buddhist temple passed, we started to find some snow in the path (about two pams approx, fallen the night before). When we reach the small village of Dobato, only one of the lodges is open, but without water, because the mangeures are frozen. Fortunately, we bring our lunch (chapatti omelette) to be more agile. Let's restart the last section of the ascent, short, before reaching the summit-viewpoint of Mulhdai (3,607 m). Unfortunately, the clouds and the fog do not let us see the spectacular views. It's cold and snowy, and we quickly descend to Deurali and Ghorepani.
After weighing on a section the ridge, we turn to the right to start losing height rapidly. This is a slightly more technical descent of what we have encountered so far, especially for the presence of snow in the form of a zigzag. We leave the steppe to enter a bushy and rocky area, and end up entering the forest completely.
The descent to Deurali is very long, but a very hot tea gives us strength and strength to face the last stretch of the day: 2 hours to Ghorepani, most of the descent or plan, on a very beautiful road.
Finally, when it has already become dark, we reach Ghorepani, an epicenter of trekking in the Annapurna area, one of the most tourist villages with the most lodging offerings. It is worthwhile to take off and see the sunrise, overlooking the Annapurnes and Dhaulagiri.
