Gibralgalia Campo Circuit No. 1
This walk starts on the outskirts of Gibralgalia, on the MA 3400.
There is off road parking. There is a green Sign nearby for the recycling plant.
Take the gravel road parallel with the Granadino stream (this gets dusty if a lorry passes by, at weekends it’s not a problem).
After 1.5km with the recycling plant on your left, go straight ahead into the old drover paths.
The scenery and countryside is breath taking with a wide variety of wildlife.
The return leg of the journey is on the old Alozania route the Camino el Chaparral, which goes into the village of Gibralgalia, which is worth a look, especially the old ruins the Casillas de Diaz.
You pass several streams and sheep farms enroute.
Leaving the village you make your way downhill on the MA 3400which is a quite road. You pass the bar Tio Pepe if you want to stop for refreshments.
Please note after rains these paths can get muddy.
All in all I was blown away by how beautiful and peaceful this area is.

Great walk. Can't wait to do it again in springtime when I'm sure it will be even more beautiful
