Remember, if you go to the country or leave nothing, nature only wants your love and respect.
This is one of the most difficult to do so it is an "ultra-trail" of long-distance organized by the hiking club "Tres Caminos de Ubrique" to which I want to thank the good coordination and the great human and physical work they do so that this test can be done.
The duration of the test is approximately 20 hours, so you have to be very prepared to do it. Although it is not competitive, the physical and mental effort is the same.
The first part leaving Gibraltar is practically leaving the asphalt and hard ground until you reach the "Pinar del Rey, San Roque" where we will find a part of hard ground and another part of sandy until we reach La Almoraima and Castellar the new one. Going towards old Castellar where we will go up to the height of the castle, where we would have a fairly steep but short climb. Once arrived at the castle we will begin the descent to the height of the Hozgarganta River, which will accompany us all the way, passing through Marchenilla Way, going on to Jimena de la Frontera where the ascent begins again crossing Jimena, reaching the outside from the village through the Los Alcornocales campsite, crossing the road take an old road that will be lost as we go and we will alternate with Lanes and trails.
Passing through the Puerto de las Corzas, Altos del Panerón, Majada del Lobo, La Venta, Horse Race, Los Charcones and Puerto del Mojo de la Víbora, where you will descend to Ubrique direction to reach the finish line.
The traid of this route are purely indicative being under the responsibility of those people who commit to perform them, as it depends on many personal factors such as physical equipment preparation and other such as meteorology: (wind, rain, heat etc ...) .
