The Briksdal Valley
From the center of Olden, turn towards the Briksdal Glacier (Briksdalsbreen) and the Briksdal Glacier Mountain Hut (Briksdalsbre Fjellstove). Drive straight for about 24 km along the lake (Oldevatnet) towards Briksdal, which is at the end of the road. The Oldedal valley is beautiful and offers the waterfalls that roar from the spectacular slopes of the mountains.
THE BRIKSDAL GLACIER (BRIKSDALSBREEN)
The glacier is to the east and can not be seen from the road until you reach the end of the slope that leads to it. Turn left onto Mellkevoll Bretun and continue for about 500m. Here you will find the bus and car park, right next to the Briksdal Glacier Mountain Hut. There is a cafeteria and souvenir shops. From there, follow the road, which almost reaches the glacier. It has no loss.
!! AH! and if you do not want to walk, the "troll cars" will take you to the glacier. Only the Japanese used it.
