Itinerary description
Loop hike. Starts and ends near the drinking water tap on the Calle Fuente in Gochár. Go in the direction of the dry riverbed, the 'rambla'. You may see a sign pane in white and green, with text in Spanish, starting with 'Prohibido..' (is about dumping construction-garbage). Go right and walk through the 'Rambla de Góchar' dry riverbed. There may be multiple paths, but stay in the riverbed a bit on the right side. After about 350 meter you'll see some, about three, abandoned farms on your left up the hill. There is a path directly left, going out from the rambla, passing through these ruins. Keep following up the hill, the path, now more of a track, becomes better, until the turning point up. From there it is easy to keep following the path. First you will pass some beehives, 'abejos' on your right. It may go a bit 'cross-country' at times, but finally you descend in the little hamlet of El Mayordomo into the Rambla de Sorbas. Go left and keep following the riverbed, passing Quijiliana on your left up, crossing the main road that leads to Góchar, passing the traffic-warning-sign 'Inundable', going through the ford, back on the Rambla de Góchar, back to Góchar, right up on the path where you started towards the drinking source/tap on Calle Fuente.
