CA: La quarta etapa del sender Transversal GR 1 ens porta des de Banyoles, al Pla de l'Estany, fins a Besalú, un dels pobles més emblemàtics i coneguts de la Garrotxa i de Catalunya. Durant la primera part de l'etapa pugem fins al puig de Sant Martirià, que ens ofereix unes vistes magnífiques de l'estany de Banyoles i de les muntanyes del Prepirineu i del Pirineu. A continuació creuem una zona de camps de conreu i arribem al bonic poble de Serinyà. Després de caminar pels carrerons d'aquesta vila continuem l'etapa cap al N i entrem a la comarca de la Garrotxa. Arribem a Besalú pel seu espectacular pont fortificat, que fou construït entre els segles XII i XIV.

ES: La cuarta etapa del sendero Transversal GR 1 nos lleva desde Banyoles, en el Pla de l'Estany, hasta Besalú, uno de los pueblos más emblemáticos y conocidos de la Garrotxa y de Catalunya. Durante la primera parte de la etapa subimos hasta el Puig de Sant Martirià, que nos ofrece unas vistas magníficas del lago de Banyoles y de las montañas del Prepirineo y el Pirineo. A continuación cruzamos una zona de campos de cultivo y llegamos al bonito pueblo de Serinyà. Después de andar por las callejuelas de este municipio continuamos la etapa hacia el N y entramos en la comarca de la Garrotxa. Llegamos a Besalú por su espectacular puente fortificado, que fue construido entre los siglos XII y XIV.

EN: The fourth stage of the GR 1 Transversal trail takes us from Banyoles, in Pla de l'Estany, to Besalú, one of the most emblematic and well-known towns of La Garrotxa and Catalunya. During the first part of the stage we went up to the Puig de Sant Martirià, which offers magnificent views of the lake of Banyoles and the mountains of the Pre-Pyrenees and the Pyrenees. Then we cross an area of cultivated fields and arrive at the beautiful village of Serinyà. After walking through the streets of this municipality we continue the stage towards the N and enter the region of La Garrotxa. We arrive in Besalú for its spectacular fortified bridge, which was built between the 12th and 14th centuries.
