Another short stage because we weren’t sure if Navarredondilla has accommodation and we don’t feel like camping because Natasja is not completely fit.
Nevertheless this short stage was a very pleasant and beautiful one. Although a small part of it runs on or right next to the carretera, most of this track is through lovely dehesa’s which were full of flowers at the time we passed. Add the splendid views on the Gredos range and you’ll understand the pleasure this walk gave us.
We lost the track shortly before Navalmoral, got back on it but missed part of the official route. So check well once you’re close the point where our Wikiloc trails show some hesitation.
We ended up at the Arpa hostal which seems to be really good value for money. Plus they have a huge roof terrace with views on the Gredos. We’ll know that for sure tomorrow...

We are walking the GR10 across Spain from Puçol (near Valencia) all the way to the Spanish/Portuguese border. We started March 21th 2018 and hope to finish at the end of June.

We tried to walk around the fenced piece of land but found out here it’s not possible so we went back
