Itinerary description

Villel is really lively compared to lots of the other places we passed and stopped at. So it took us till late before we left. Knowing that we only needed to reach Rubiales (12km). The first part we were joined by the PR.. that leads through a spectacular gorge. There is an alternative route but we’d strongly advice you to take this one.
After the gorge there is still quite some walking and climbing to go through pleasant pine tree forest (except for loads of small flying bugs).
Rubiales has very little to offer; the shop/bar/... doesn’t open till summer, the people are gone, the water taps are closed. And so is the albergue rural.
So we continued direction Bezas. Here to there’s a new route; through pine tree forests again. We went on for about 6 km to halt just a km beyond the abandoned village Casillas de Bezas.

We are walking the GR10 across Spain from Puçol (near Valencia) all the way to the Spanish/Portuguese border. We started March 21th 2018 and hope to finish at the end of June.
