Itinerary description
22/4/18
The first stretch, Canales-Ocentejo is very poorly marked, if marked at all. Without the GPS/Wikiloc tracks it is impossible to follow. Even with these helpful guides we sometimes lost track although never more than 30 meters.
From Ocentejo onwards to Oter it’s easy to follow although this part also lacks tracks.
The GR10 marks are back from Oter onwards where the GR113 Camino Natural del Tajo comes in.
After passing Oter (no bar, fuente for water 200 m southwards), if you walk in breeding season you’re forced to take a detour. Halfway this detour we camped, just short of Carrasco Del Río and with a beautiful view on Tetas de Vianas (tits of Viana) and nuclear power plant of Trillo.
————————————————-
We are walking the GR10 across Spain from Puçol (near Valencia) all the way to the Spanish/Portuguese border. We started March 21th 2018 and hope to finish at the end of June.

Frank is an American who also did the GR10 in 2013/14. We sometimes use his GPS coordinates and consult his website www.frankrevelo.com for his info on hotels, restaurants and bars. Thanks Frank! So together with the routes of guillemjunyet and bornem on Wikiloc we find our way. You guys are our heroes!

El GR-10 no pasa por Canales ni por Ocentejo. Discurre por el margen izquierdo del Tajo hasta Valtablao del Tajo, donde gira a la derecha cruzando el Tajo y se dirige a Oter
