Itinerary description
26/4/18
Described as transition stage this part leads through agricultural landscapes. Broader views with fields still green from the young wheatgrass. Nice to have these landscapes for a change.
Replenished in Cifuentes for our nights camp and continued on the easygoing roads/dirt roads to Moranchel and Las Inviernas. Both farmers villages with not much going on, bars closed since ages.
The last stretch towards El Sotillo leads through woods of ‘carrascos’ and a nice ‘barranco’ just before entering the village. Over there, surprise, we were shown the bar and had our beer to finish the day.
We camped 1km outside the village on a nice spot overlooking another barranco. With some wheat fields below us and an occasional high speed train roaring in the background we prepared a simple dinner.

We are walking the GR10 across Spain from Puçol (near Valencia) all the way to the Spanish/Portuguese border. We started March 21th 2018 and hope to finish at the end of June.

Wine jars of old times
Before I thought these were huge plant pots cause we have those made of the same terra cotta material in Holland. But after visiting the former wine caves of Ruguilla I know better.
