Itinerary description
7/5/18
Camped at a wonderful spot just east of Alpedrete. Skipped the usual camping breakfast because the bartender told us he’d reopen at 8 am. Which he didn’t do our breakfast was restrained to tea and biscuits. So on to the Ponton de Oliva that appeared to have a bar. It did but it for sure wasn’t open.
A cheese sandwich out of our stock thus and in to Pantone. Take care, the path directly after the dam is not very clearly indicated.
Beautiful views all the way to Madrid again on the way to Pantone and after a steep climb entered the medieval village heading for our bar; finally. But, these people were probably all fed up with tourists after the weekend. On mondays the village is deserted and all the bars, restaurants and hotels closed.
So away from all the medieval beauty to the everyday town of Pantone de Abajo.
Cash machine, bar, beer and a hotel just 3,5 km away...

We are walking the GR10 across Spain from Puçol (near Valencia) all the way to the Spanish/Portuguese border. We started March 21th 2018 and hope to finish at the end of June.
