Itinerary description
28/5/18
“Enlace”, as it is called in Spanish, with the main route of GR10. Today we shifted from GR10.3 towards GR10 joining the last in the village of Navaluenga. The weather forecast shows too much rain the coming days so we don’t feel like camping which would be necessary on the coming part of the GR10.3 variante after Navalmoral. So we came up with this solution.
The best part of today’s hike was the descent from Navalmoral to Navaluenga; quiet and completely in “nature”. Not part of any GR variante though.
The second bit, along the Alberche valley, was less beautiful but offered nice views on the slopes of the Gredos.
We stay in Casa Rural El Mirador; it really stands for its name. Finally we will be preparing dinner ourselves again.

We are walking the GR10 across Spain from Puçol (near Valencia) all the way to the Spanish/Portuguese border. We started March 21th 2018 and hope to finish at the end of June.
