Itinerary description
7/6/18
Well rested after two nights in casa rural Azabache in El Barco.
Boring start. With a lot of mud, water, puddles and flooded paths again. At least the first stretch up to Puerta de Castilla. Strange village too but with a bar that was open (bar El Salon) to have a coffee. Good.
After that the landscape opens up, nice walk with the company of cattle. And once we passed the Puerto de Tornavacas the views into the Valle de Jerte make up for the boring first part. Tornavacas is a beautiful village with lots of flowers and old houses.
Sleep in the Posada Antigua; colorful and recommended.

We are walking the GR10 across Spain from Puçol (near Valencia) all the way to the Spanish/Portuguese border. We started March 21th 2018 and hope to finish at the end of June.
