Itinerary description
14/6/18
We decided that this is our last stage of the GR10 in this period. Natasja doesn’t want to live the nomad life anymore. It’s enough after 3 months.
First day of heat in a long time. The start from Zarza is nice: Plaza de toros as the starting point for approximately 8 km dehesa. Our favorite landscape. After that the trees slowly disappear and the route leads through large campos de jara(?) bushes.
Downhill towards the small Embalse de Valdebispo/de Guijo with a “lost” bridge in the middle of it.
Getting up to Guijo de Granadilla we sort of ran to catch the bus to Pinofranqueado. But that one never came... Or we missed it.
So this part of our GR10 experience ends at Bar Sabra Ana.
It was great!
Cheers!

We are walking the GR10 across Spain from Puçol (near Valencia) all the way to the Spanish/Portuguese border. We started March 21th 2018 and hope to finish at the end of June.

You are for my land, I hope the heat is not too much for you. Soon you will enter Las Hurdes and Sierra de Gata before the Portuguese border, there the climate will be more benevolent.
That you have good crossing.
Manuel
