Itinerary description

This gps-track contains the complete GR20 from north to south. Of course it is also possible to walk it in the other direction or only the northern or southern part. I also included the waypoints of all the campsites/refuges we stayed during the night, altough there are many more places to pitch your tent during the route.

This great route contains hiking, scrambling, many great panorama's and nice places to stay. During the summer period (until the end of September) food is no issue, you can buy it in many places.

How to get there and leave:
I included 8km of gps-track to get to Calenzana from the nearest train station (Camp Rafelli/GR20 stop). From Conca you can take a mini-bus to Porte Vecchio and some other directions.

    hi again
did you sleep out of the refuges? is it difficult to find spot for the tent in the wilderness? im planning to spend few night there.

  • koenverhoeven Sep 13, 2019

We slept in a tent around the refuges. IT is not allowed tot pitch your tent anywhere else ( in the wilderness)

J'ai fait le GR20 au complet en utilisant cet itinéraire (que j'ai suivi 90% du temps). Combiné avec la carte offline, il me fut vraiment très utile. Merci beaucoup au créateur.

Northern part is much more difficult than the southern part after Vizzavona. Speaking a bit of French or Italian will help you quite a bit, as many Corsicans struggle to speak English. Very friendly people, breathtaking views.

Mind: Circe de Solitude is closed - you will need to take a pretty long detour or take the bus for this stage.

If u have only a week to 10 days. Would u do the north or south part of the hike?? Prefer having stunning views

  • koenverhoeven Feb 19, 2020

I would suggest the northern part.
