Itinerary description

I read beforehand that many hikers tend to take the bus from Bourg d’Oisans to Huez village because of the pointless, boring first section. I got on the trail a little after Huez village and indeed, all the way up to Col du Sarenne is quite unintresting. Skistations, 4x4 roads, even asphalt roads. As soon as you descend towards Clavans, the trail becomes more of a real trail. Clavans le Haut, Clavans le Bas & Besse are three stunning villages were you will walk through! For me the real scenery came out once you reach the top of the climb after Besse. All the way to Le Chazelet was breathtaking!
