7 km with 450 m ascent, rating 3.5 out of 5 stars
This walk first visits the crater and then follows the rim of the Caldera de Bandama. The crater is nice to visit, we added the walk along the rim because only the crater part was a bit too short (about 3.5 km with 250 m climbing). It’s definitely worth it to include the rim because it gives you a completely different view than from within the volcano.
It is a popular walk and you probably will not be alone. Parking places near the start are limited.
