Itinerary description
If you are looking for not a touristic trail this is definitely the trekking adventure you have to do.
The time to complete the trail includes 3 stops along the way and about 45 minutes of break for having lunch and have a bath in the ocean.
By car you can reach "Mirador el Balcón" enjoy the view then keep driving for about 5 minutes since the road will end.
Park next to the road and keep walking.
The trail is so exciting as you are going to walk in the same road that has been closed due to landslides. By the way, I consider safe walking till the "Mirador Andén Verde".
It is basically an empty platform and very easy to recognize ("sendero arena blanca" en Google Maps)
Here is where the trail begins.
There are no sights but you can easily recognize the trail.
You are going to walk in a pathway with a quite steep descent as you are in a "Barranco".
Even if it seems quite hard and long in time to reach the ocean, I can say that it took just 1.45h!
Pay attention while you are walking to reach the sea as the slope is quite high and the grip to the ground is not so strong due to the rocks.
I recommend this trail if you have at least a bit of experience in hiking and if you want to find a peaceful place.
I do not recommend this trail if you suffer from vertigo as in some points the pathway is quite narrow. By the way, if you pay attention this hiking will not be dangerous and you are going to like it as the landscape you can enjoy is breathtaking.
