The 1695 m ascent estimated by Wikiloc is wrong!
This a very nice hike through the Agaete valley and the Tamadaba pine forest. It’s a long and demanding walk but certainly worth it.
This was the best walk we did on Gran Canaria during our two week holiday in December 2023. The trail is very diverse and views are great.
The hike is also described in the Rother Walking Guide, hike number 52.
