Itinerary description
An easy walk on roads with minimal traffic. Near the sea the road turns into an easily passable river bed. There is a bus from Puerto Mogan to Veneguera. The road near Puerto Mogan is private but no one tried to stop me walking there. A sign, already looking old in 2003 suggested the road was open to walkers from 08:00 to 16:00.

Is it still possible, this route? A couple of months ago the road that connects Veneguera with Mogan was closed (it is a private road). Maybe there is an alternative for this stretch.
My knowledge is not up-to-date. The road was private when I walked there but I assumed it was closed for vehicles but open for walkers. I met some local people who were friendly and did not comment on my presence. Perhaps there is a local tourist information office that could help. I took a photo of a sign which suggests the road is open for walkers from 08:00 to 16:00. The sign is close to Playa de Veneguera.
This whole area has been totally closed off by the commercial property developers Lopesan, all the way to Veneguera.
