Dead end streets, typical of juderías, for protection. Otherwise buildings are exactly as in Muslim quarters

Ferdinand and Isabella's crypt/chapel. 1504 Isabella died, mosque transformed into chapel next to the planned cathedral.
Chapel built before cathedral because Isabela died unexpectedly. Both F and I temporarily buried in Alhambra, then transfered to chapel. Isabela and Ferdinand coat of arms and initials. Also emblems on ground, symbolic for their burials. F and I, crowned initials next to gargoyles and on the ground.

Cathedral has small square in front, ran out of money. + Construction problems - weak ground and rock. 5 stories planned, when building 4th floor of tower, it started sinking and 4th floor was dismantled. Now 3 storirs, unfinished.
