Itinerary description
Stages 3 to 8 of the GTM (Grande Traversée du Mercantour). BOUSIEYAS-ISOLA 2000.
GETTING START POINT
From NICE to SAINTE ETIENNE DE TINÉE by bus (Ligne 740) (1,5€). Then taxi to Bousieyas (40€).
There is an option to take an early bus and hike from Sainte Etienne de Tinée to Saint Dalmas le Sauvage starting the GTM from the Stage 2.
To start from Stage 1, you need to take the bus 790 to Entraunes then hike or taxi to L'Estenc (7km).
RETURN
From ISOLA 2000 to ISOLA by taxi (40€) and then by bus (740) to NICE. During some periods of the year you can take the bus 750 from ISOLA 2000 to ISOLA.
OVERNIGHT STAYS
Overnight stays in the huts (refuges) with half board (~ 50€/night/person).
